Tell me a little bit about yourself? Family, profession, life, anything.
Well … I’ve been married 45 years, I have five kids and fifteen grandkids (with numbers sixteen and seventeen on the way!). I’ve had lots of jobs over the years — daycare, bank job, treasurer, Scott/Hennepin park system, I worked at Kraft foods as sales service rep for fifteen years, I worked nine years at the elementary school with special needs children, and now I’m here. That’s even leaving out a few things!”

Why is being a member/volunteer worthwhile to you?
It’s just good to see the benefits … that the market provides not only myself but everyone else. It’s great to see how it’s being accepted.
What do you think Farmhouse Market should look like/be like in 10 years?
Worldwide! I’d like to see it expand.
What is your favorite part about our community?
I think we have a very accepting community open to welcoming new things and supporting the businesses. It’s awesome when people walk in and they’re just so fired up and excited about the work going on here. I love visiting with people here and simply being in town doing things!
